You want a centered swing (no swaying) and smooth acceleration into the the release point. The release point occurs in the downswing just as the butt of the grip begins to point at the ball. Too early and you cast the club. Too late and you make poor contact.

Tired of trying to decode and unravel right handed tips? It's hard enough for lefties to learn at an early age to push a pen or pencil against it's will.
